Regretfully selling due to the owner's age and deteriorating health. Recently hauled out in the Marchwood Yacht Club Boat Park for annual winterising, engine service and antifouling. Blue Skies comes with mainsail in good condition with sail cover, Furling headstay, large overlapping Genoa (150%) and high clewed Jib. Cruising chute and spinnaker pole. Her own boat cradle. Also Available separately is an inflatable tender with Honda 2.3 outboard. There is a comprehensive list of replacements and upgrade costs since 2008 available. She has been lightly used; the Hull is in good condition for a 1981 boat, still with the original gel-coat finish.

The Splash hood has been replaced.

Navigation equipment includes:

Bulkhead mounted Raymarine C70 chart plotter with Radar. The VHF radio has recently been replaced.

Bulkhead mounted compass.

NASA masthead  anemometer, depth and speed display instruments in the cockpit.

All Nav lights

Autohelm. (serviced but not "boxed" in)

A mini gigabyte computer and monitor with PC Plotter navigation app as backup in the nav station below with a GPS receiver located on the pushpit.

Linked into a mini multiplexer using NMEA 0183 and Raymarine Seatalk protocol.

Engine is a Yanmar 2QM15 with a larger 75 amp alternator, charging a starter battery and two 110 amp house batteries via a Sterling charging Management unit.

Bruce Anchor with 40 metres of chain.

Central Bridge deck beefed up, self tailing lewmar 2 speed winch with 3 other winches.

all running rigging in good order, regularly washed.

Interior; Standard 9 metre layout, needs some attention i.e. roof lining. The heads have been replaced with a Jabsco toilet and the Blakes inlet/outlet stopcocks replaced recently. The raw water stopcock (Kington Valve) has also been replaced at the same time. There are numerous other marine items i.e. Anchor Ball, Steaming Triangle, horse shoe life belt,Fenders, warps, boat hooks etc.
